The Inn on the Pond near Redhill

Nutfield Marsh Rd
Nutfield, Surrey, RH1 4EU

For reservations call: 01737 643000

Situated adjacent to Nutfield Cricket pitch with fantastic views over Nutfield Marshes, The Inn on the Pond is a quintessential English country pub.

The pub, offers a large bar area for drinking as well as a separate dining room and bar dining area. A log burner and open fireplace create a cosy pub atmosphere on winter’s days.

In the restaurant they serve good, no nonsense, value for money food, using fresh ingredients. If you are a vegetarian, you will find a good choice of  none meat dishes including salats.

We visited the pub on Saturday 24th July 2010, a beautiful summers day and we enjoyed a superb meal in the restaurant. I had a Classic Caesar Salad with fresh Parmesan, which was fresh and crisp. My partner ordered a Home-made Burger with Cheese and Bacon, Fried Egg, Frits accompanied by a bottle of superb house red. Being a rather large 6’2” person, I must mention the comfortable tables and chairs. Later we had cheese and biscuits in the garden, watching a cricket match.

If all you fancy is a drink – don’t worry; like any pub, wine is served by the glass or bottle and there is also a choice of a wide range of local draught real ales, including the Hogs Back Brewery TEA and Bowman Ales.
